Jess [00:00:00]:
Welcome to He Speaks, I Obey, a podcast of Bible backed affirmations and reminders for the growing believer. Today's affirmation is I am fearless and faithfully backed. What rises against you cannot overthrow what God has already secured for you. The weapons may come, but he promises it won't prosper. I am fearless and faithfully backed. Psalms 91:7 8 says, A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. I am fearless and faithfully backed.

Jess [00:00:49]:
This scripture has three powerful truths for us to stand on. We are immune to the attacks that God doesn't permit, just as Job. We face numerous attacks. Each one requires a different strategy. Some come to build us up, sharpen us, and teach us. Weapons of warfare may form against us, enemies may gather against us, and mountains may look endless, but they cannot touch you unless God permits. Job was tested not because he was a bad believer, but because he stood faithfully with God. Malachi 3:11 reminds us that God rebukes the Devourer.

Jess [00:01:35]:
I will rebuke the devourer for you so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil and your vine and your field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts. And Mark 16:18 declares that even deadly things will not harm those who are in Christ. They will pick up serpents with their hands. If they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them. They will lay their hands on the sick and they will be made well. You are shielded, protected and loved. It is not your job to figure out how to battle each weapon that tries to come up against you, but to allow God to fight the battles on your behalf. Not only do we receive immunity, but we are promised recompense.

Jess [00:02:23]:
There are two types of recompense in the Bible, and this one intentionally means reward, repayment and restoration. Not only are we safe, but God restores what was lost every time. Proverbs 3:25 26 says, do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught in Joel 2:25 I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army which I sent among you. Even if you feel the weapons are prospering, he will restore anything that was lost in this. Sometimes we think that we will receive the same thing in the same way, but God is not a keeper of our expectations. He is a keeper of our purpose, though, so what he restores matches what's designed in your written plan, not in your expectations. The Last Truth God Himself handles your enemies. Deuteronomy 32:30 says, how could one have chased a thousand, and two have put ten thousand to flight, unless their rock had sold them and the Lord had given them up? The math isn't right because God is in the fight.

Jess [00:03:50]:
He always multiplies, never divides from you. He fights the battles on your behalf. You only need to trust in his ability and believe he has the best interest in mind. One can chase a thousand, but the Lord sends ten thousand to flight. Would you rather fight relentlessly or let the divine vengeance fight on your behalf? Like a lawyer in a courtroom, the presence of weapons doesn't equal the absence of God's power. When opposition rises, it's often a sign that you are moving in the right direction and heaven has your back. Rest in the protection rather than pray for the strength for a battle you're not even supposed to fight. What weapons are pressing against you? Is it fear? Your finances? Attacks on your peace? Attacks on your family or your health? Psalms 91 reminds us that they will not prosper.

Jess [00:04:47]:
They can't. Everything is in God's will, the good and the perceived bad. It will always work out for our good. Every time the enemy tries to magnify the weapon, declare it will not prosper. Speak it, declare it, believe it, for that is your fight, to believe what God has spoken for you. Father, thank you for being my shield, my defender, and my redeemer. Psalms 91 reminds me that though the weapons may form, they will not prosper. Though I am pressed doesn't mean I will be broken.

Jess [00:05:30]:
Remind me to focus on you when the weapons and attacks start to form. Let me feel your presence around me, supporting and protecting me. I know this is something I need to affirm in my life by declaring your word often in my life. I stand today faithfully backed by your word, your spirit, and your promises. I don't take your promises lightly and I repent for any time I have went against what you have spoken in my life. I'm sorry I gave the weapon more power than I ever needed to. I thank you for your grace and your mercy. I am fearless and faithfully backed by you and look forward to your victory and recompense.

Jess [00:06:13]:
Thank you, God. Amen. Carry that with you today. Write it down. Put it on your desk. Put it as a wallpaper on your phone. Put it somewhere where you can see it each day until it becomes second nature to your belief. I am fearless and faithfully backed.

Jess [00:06:38]:
Until next time.
